As part of UNAIDS agenda to intensify efforts on prevention, the MENA RST published the document titled “HIV and Outreach Programmes with Men who have Sex with Men in the Middle East and North Africa; from a process of raising awareness to a process of commitment” after consultation with a large number of partners.
This handbook is the result of civil society organizations’ hard work in engaging with men who have sex with men in MENA countries.
The toolkit provides countries that are currently implementing MSM programmes with additional tools to improve them and offers others willing to initiate such programmes sufficient elements to design them. The next step will be to translate this publication into Arabic and compile complementary tools for use in outreach programming.
