For the first time in MENA, a group of people living with HIV (PLHIV) came up with the idea of producing a short movie on stigma and discrimination and volunteers who strongly believe in the cause, participated in the film.

The launch of this movie “Change” - a joint project between the Regional/Arab Network Against AIDS (RANAA) and MENA Rosa (a group of women living with and affected by HIV in MENA), was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Ford Foundation, the International Council of Women (ICW) and the UNAIDS and will be launched on the World AIDS Day, December 1st.

The movie also reflects a new concept of “A Paradigm Shift – A shift in Paradigm, not in Priority” that mainly encourages people living with HIV to be the change they wish to see in others - while RANAA will continue to build their capacities and advocate for the rights to live in dignity.
